About Dr. Proud

Dr. Terri Proud, Ph.D.
Founder | Educator | Consciousness Researcher

Dr. Terri Proud is an educator in Henderson, Nevada, and a consciousness researcher with a lifelong interest in how human awareness, emotional intelligence, and non-ordinary experiences shape personal growth and understanding. She is the founder of Conscious Pathways Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to exploring consciousness and unexplained phenomena through calm, ethical, and research-informed inquiry.

She holds a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Sciences, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and has spent over five years in education, currently teaching middle school science in Nevada. In the classroom, she integrates critical thinking, emotional awareness, and curiosity—encouraging students to ask thoughtful questions about the world and themselves.

Dr. Proud’s research focuses on human potential, generational trauma, and consciousness, forming the basis of her doctoral work and her ongoing support of intuitive and emotionally sensitive individuals. Her interest in this field is both academic and personal. From an early age, she experienced non-ordinary phenomena—such as vivid dreams, intuitive insight, and time-related anomalies—which she has come to understand not as pathology, but as part of a broader spectrum of human perception.

She founded Conscious Pathways Institute to support individuals who quietly carry extraordinary or misunderstood experiences—often feeling dismissed or misinterpreted by conventional systems. Her work emphasizes documentation, dignity, and open inquiry, without imposing beliefs or conclusions.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Proud enjoys teaching, writing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her rescue dog, Coby.
