There's a version of this story that begins with degrees, titles, and a nonprofit organization.
But the real beginning is harder to talk about.
Years ago, I was publicly and professionally humiliated. The kind of experience that makes you question your identity, your direction, and everything you thought you knew about yourself and the world.
For a time, it broke me.
But in the silence that followed, something unexpected happened. I began paying attention.
I started noticing experiences, questions, and observations that didn't fit neatly into the frameworks I had been given. Dreams that stayed with me long after I woke. Moments of intuition I couldn't easily explain. Questions about consciousness, perception, and human potential that refused to go away.
I didn't set out looking for this path.
In many ways, it found me in the wreckage of the life I thought I was supposed to have.
What followed was not a search for answers as much as a commitment to inquiry. I returned to school, earned degrees in business and metaphysical sciences, became a science educator, and eventually founded Conscious Pathways Institute.
Not because I had reached a conclusion.
Because I had questions.
Questions about consciousness. Questions about human experience. Questions about the things people often dismiss because they don't fit comfortably into existing models of understanding.
I know what it feels like to be dismissed.
I know what it feels like to have your experiences questioned, minimized, or ignored.
That's why I created this space.
Conscious Pathways Institute exists as a place for thoughtful, ethical, and open inquiry. A place where questions are welcomed, experiences are treated with respect, and curiosity is valued over certainty.
If you've ever had an experience you couldn't explain and felt hesitant to talk about it, you're not alone.
You're exactly why this work exists.
